That is why we created this article – to let you know the main standard and requirements for bookbinding the theses. Follow them attentively, and you will have no problems with bookbinding the thesis.

  • You have to bind at least two copies of your thesis. The first copy is made in order to present it to the college’s or university’s circulating collection, where it is to be kept for ages. The second one is for the institution’s archive, where it is to be kept after your graduation. Of course, you may bind more copies of your thesis in order to present them to someone, or to leave one for yourself.

  • Your thesis print is to be single sided while bookbinding the thesis. All the margins but the left one have to be 1 inch. The left one is to be a bit bigger. You had better ask your supervisor what size it should be.
