So, what is the main purpose of high school research papers? High school research papers were invented to teach you how to make research on a particular topic. Do not fall in panic at the word “research”. It is just a high school research paper and it is not necessary to use deductive methods or something like that to carry it out. What you have to do is to have a look at what you have written in a class and maybe some additional materials that your kind-hearted teacher gave you. The second type of high school research papers is argumentative. Here you can reason and beat the air a little. The most important thing is a thesis statement. It should be extraordinary and unexpected. This does not mean that this statement must be a scandalous stating that Michael Jackson developed from a crocodile. Thesis statements in high school research papers should be reasonable and you have to prove them.
